Paradise in South America.

Colombia and Guyana, they are two of thirteen countries that compose the south of the American continent. These two countries, they are located to the north of South America. Colombia located in the zone North-East and Guyana, in the northwestern zone. Though these two countries share geographical and climatic characteristics, the cultural activities are different. For example, Guyana is a country descendant from the English colonies, in contrast with Colombia, that is a descendant from the Spanish colony, which relates to his official languages, in Guyana the english and in Colombia the spanish. In addition, Colombia is a country with a area of 1.141.748 Km2, compared to Guyana, that just have 214.970 Km2. Both countries are in the equator, and his climate is tropical, but Colombia has more climatic diversity that Guyana, thanks to the mountainous chains that cross the country. This way, while Guyana to keep a climate of the Caribbean, in Colombia it is possible to feel, from the most extreme cold to the most intense heat.
To finish, between the most important tourist destinations of the Guyana, we find: The building of the Guianese parliament and the stadium of cricket Providence, in Georgetown (The capital of the country), and the waterfall Kaieteur. In Colombia, the most important tourist destinations are: Cabo de la Vela (desert of the Guajira), San Agustín (Huila), Casa de Nariño, in Bogota (The capital of the country) and Castillo de San Felipe (Cartagena de Indias).
