The Pianist against Finding Nemo

By Mónica Mª Jaramillo P.

Both, The Pianist and Finding Nemo are the best movies of 2003.
These movies are very different. To begin, The Pianist is a movie of drama, in contrast, Finding Nemo is a children’s film.
The differences are evident, since Finding Nemo is a computer-animated film, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures, Whereas The Pianist is a movie based on the memories of Polish musician of Jewish origin, Wtadystaw Szpilman. Finding Nemo is longevous that The Pianist. The animated movie has duration of 100 minutes and The Pianist of 150 min.
The Pianist has the Prizes Oscar of 2003 of The Best Director, Best Actor and Best Adapted Script, unlike Finding Nemo. Children’s film has the Prize Oscar of 2003 to Best Animated Feature. The Pianist is a movie directed by Roman Polanski and Finding Nemo is a movie directed by Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich.
The protagonist of The Pianist is Adrian Brody. The Protagonist of Finding Nemo it is Nemo, a clownfish animated, whose voice is given by Alexander Gould in English and Memo Aponte Jr., in Spanish.
Both movies are different. But in my opinion Finding Nemo it is better than The Pianist, since Finding Nemo is possible to share in family and is more sweet. The Pianist is a more aggressive, heavier and slower movie than Finding Nemo.
